Why print the prices?
There are 2 good reasons for making my prices an open book, both clear and public:
It makes life easy for you. Using this website, you quickly and easily know what you get (value) and what you pay (price). My practice is about making health care easier for you and being open with you.
But there is another reason. In the public health care discussion and debates, nearly everyone cites transparency of costs as a worthwhile goal. And yet, there is almost no cost transparency in the medical system. Even today.
I feel like its important to lead by example. It's one thing to say "cost transparency is valuable." It's another thing to actually do it. The page you were just on is likely the simplest, most transparent cost page you'll ever see in health care.
